UPCOMING EVENTS
It is an excited time these days here, at the First Romanian Baptist Church of Atlanta, where we are getting ready to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our church.
The last 25 years were full of blessings for our community even if we were under hard times occasionally. Now it’s the time to count the blessings our God has bestowed upon us. Watch out for our Anniversary Newsletter that will highlight all the important moments of our short, but blessed history.
During the first week of November 2009 our church sanctuary will host several events.
The first event scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd is a cultural event, at which we invite all the Romanians living in the area to be part of. It is a night of Romanian poetry and music, during which people from our church and guests will recite from our Romanian classical poets as well as some local poets, while listening to the best classical music Romania has ever had. Please visit the special page dedicated to this event where you’ll find more detailed information.
On Friday, November 6th our sisters Romanian Baptist churches will join us in a special worship service starting at 8:00PM.
On Saturday, November 7th our sisters Romanian Penticostal churches will join us in a special worship service starting at 7:00PM. During this service the Romanian Youth from all the churches will worship our Lord and Savior.
On Sunday, November 8th we invite all Romanians living in Atlanta area to be part of our celebration , when we’ll glorify His Almighty name and we’ll rejoice together.
We would like to remember everyone that 25 years ago here in the Greater Atlanta area there were no Romanian Baptists, nor penticostals or ortodoxs or any other denominations, just a small group of Romanians on a holy mission and a common goal, regardless of their denomination – to start a place to worship God in their native language.
At present we are happy to have several churches from each denomination, so brothers and sisters from this area let’s get together to give thanks to the Lord for His kindness that endures for ever.
Detailed information about each service can be found here.
Our church regular schedule can be found here.
